Another Debate Camp Memory
The cat's out of the bag.... I was a debate dork in high school. So I may as well post another related link. This site is dedicated to the art of pen spinning. Half the time when I'm spinning a pen, I don't even realize it. It's a like a nervous habit. And nearly all debaters I have known do it. Chances are that kid in your college class who kept dropping his pen on the floor all semester was trying to spin it. And most likely, he was a former debater (or maybe a drummer).

i am one of the few debaters i know that never learned how to twirl a pen. an act of defiance. or whatever.
