Back to the Grind
Today was the official first day of classes. My schedule is close to final, with my classes starting tomorrow at 11am:
Tax I
Patent Law
Law of Cyberspace
Labor / Trademark
Labor and Trademark are in the same time slot, and I won't know for sure until tomorrow which I'm taking. This presents a small problem, given the 200 pages of reading assigned for the first day of Labor or 70 for Trademark. This is compounded by the fact that I didn't buy books for either class yet. It will work out though.
Books for Patent and Tax were roughly $150 each. Holy bankruptcy Batman! Thankfully, it looks like the Cyberspace class has no book (which makes sense in some ways). The financial aid office only includes $800 in the annual budget for books, which is ridiculous because it's nearly impossible to get away with only spending $400 on books per semester, not to mention study guides and basic school supplies.
I met disputation in person today. I've been adopted by my very own 1L!
Off to read (damn, that's depressing).

Good luck getting back into the grind!! I'm finding the switch back to study-all-day-every-day much harder than I initially thought...but that's just me.
Here's to a great second year Dan!
