Maintenance & Linkage

Over the last week or so, I've had some DNS problems, which led to this site occasionally being down and to the loss of any email sent to an @jewishbuddha.org address. Everything should be resolved, but if you happened to try emailing me that way recently, I probably didn't get it. If that's all gibberish to you, don't worry about it.

Also, while I was fixing things, I added a slew of links over on the right. I read lots of blogs, but for the most part, I use Bloglines. It's an excellent service, but it makes me lazy about updating the list here and giving those people their due. Lots of the interesting links I post on the left side here come from sites listed on the right. So I updated it with (I think) all of my Bloglines subscriptions. I probably missed a few. The new links include law student blogs, law professor blogs, lawyer blogs, tech blogs, personal sites, DC blogs, a San Francisco blog, an art blog, and so on.

Though all the new ones are interesting in their own ways, I'll draw your attention to three of them.

First is Thinking Fool. It's a brand new site by a classmate of mine. He's funny in person, and I think it will translate well. It's also noteworthy because I'm hosting the site on my server (I got a great Criminal Law outline out of the deal!). The Fool was also a co-editor of the Not-Stats Journal with me.

Next are two from my friend and mentor, Eric Goldman, a professor at Marquette. Eric has a personal blog, Goldman's Observations, and a law-focused site, Technology & Marketing Law Blog.

Here are the rest of the new sites, in no particular order:

I encourage you to click around a bit and see if you find something you like. They've been educational and distracting for me, both of which I appreciate.

I think what you meant to say was "NegativeMode!" And of course, there's also PositiveMode. See also BearMode. With all these modes, one would be lost without modewatch.
